Jackpot!!!

Last Saturday I went to an Estate Sale that sounded pretty good! As you "fellow junkers" know, sometimes these sales are good, sometimes they are not- so- good, and then sometimes you just hit the jackpot! Well, this was a jackpot sort of sale. I have never seen so many vintage items in my life. Due to "low funds" in my junkin account, I had to buy only what I really loved and thought would work in my booth. Below are some of my treasures!

Dozens of vintage ornaments!

Dozens of vintage spool bobbins!

Old Christmas stocking! OOPS! I downloaded it twice. Sorry about that!

So cute!

Old clocks

Wood -pulp birds!

Great blue suitcases and hat box

Pink and oh so cute!
Oh my, I forgot to take a pic of the darling, kidney -shaped vanity and matching stool. I am in the process of painting and distressing it before I take it to my booth. Come by and check out the goodies at Classic Collections on Butternut. Bye for now!!

There's No Place Like Home, But....

my heart is in Seaside, Florida! Yep, that's where we went on our secret vacation with our kids. It was a great time, but a bit like the movie "The Out-of-Towners". If you have not seen that movie, you need to rent it and find out what I am talking about. From a cancelled flight from DFW, being put on standby and several hours later being told only 3 could fly out that night, spending the night in Dallas with just the clothes you have on, no makeup. etc., being told countless times our luggage was lost , everyone getting sick except Josh,...need I say more??? Regardless, the scenery was beautiful, the company was great, and we have lots of memories in our hearts as well as in pictures. It was hard to know which pics to post, so here are a few that I really love. At the airport and EXCITED to leave!
Found luggage and golf bag in Ft Walton Beach, Florida!

Welcome to Seaside

Our little house on the beach....Beach Baby!

View from our screened-in back porch. Every morning a beach rental service had our five chairs and unbrellas waiting for us on the beach. Thanks, Mark, for having that done for us. It was GREAT!

I can hear the waves now!

An afternoon storm rolling in!

Getting closer!

Fun in the water!

Josh hitting golf balls on the beach in the evening.

Fun transportation to ride around town.
