You're Not Gonna Believe This!

A couple of weeks ago I was in Dallas with Suzanne and we saw this 1932 Classroom Printer Set at an Antique Mall. I fell in love with it, but could not believe the price tag. Just a mere $275.00!! I drooled and dreamed about it and MOST definitely did not go home with it!! Suzanne did some looking for me on ebay and we found some similar items, but not THE one. Well, look what I found about 10 days ago on ebay??? I could not believe it! Identicall!! And guess what the starting bid for this honey was???? Ya ready??? $10.00!!!!!!!!! Yep, TEN DOLLARS!! I almost cried! It arrived at my house today after my winning bid of $15.89!!! I have already played with it and can't help but wonder who used it in a 1930's classroom. If only it could talk!! Anyway, I am so thankful for this little treasure and look forward to using it in lots of ways!!

WOW!!! what fun things you could do with that! I am a little jealous! I have never seen one of those - how fun. Keep us posted what you come up with!

OH, WOW! It's even better than you described. Can I come over and play?

I noticed the "Roosevelt" stamp. We just watched a great doc. about him and Eleanor on PBS. No wonder they made a stamp with his name on it! I don't think that would happen these days...

Unreal!! You should win a trophy or something!! It's nothing I've even known about...so now my eyes will be open to see one in an antique store. I'm so happy for you!
