I woke up in the wee hours of Saturday morning to the loudest clap of thunder I think I have ever heard in my life!! The lightning show and thunder the heavens displayed for the next several hours was unbelievable. All of you Abileniens know exactly what I am talking about. Today is Sunday and it is still raining and the smell in the air is wonderful! I ran out a little bit ago just to "experience" the fresh air, cool temps, and feel the rain on my face and the running water over my feet!. Sounds silly, I know,but if you live in West Texas , this is a wonderful break from our hot and dry summer!! Thank you Lord for this wonderful break from our heat!! What a blessing and gift it is!

Amen!! The rain and cooler temperatures have been a delightful gift. We've stayed outside or had all the doors and windows open as much as possible. I think we're in for a few more days of it!!!

Ditto! We are enjoying the rain and cooler temps in Frisco too. My plants are also loving the break and growing like crazy.
We celebrate with you as our rain broke the heat spell too!! You probably appreciate it a bit more!:)
